Why You Need a Pool Filter Cleaner
Dust and dirt are part of life when living in Arizona, and especially in the Phoenix metropolitan area. We have all experienced the fine powder when dusting the inside of our homes or cleaning our cars. It is difficult to go more than one day without a layer of visible dust making its way back onto a once clean surface. This same dust that is in the air, on furniture and on cars, is also entering your pool and affecting it’s performance.
The excessive Summer heat, dust in the air accompanied by debris from trees, plants and shrubs coming from your yard or your neighbor’s yard makes our Arizona pool filters work longer and harder than in other areas. This is why most pool filter manufacturers recommend cleaning and servicing your Pool filters (DE filters & Pool Cartridge Filters), every 3 to 6 months. A Pool Filter Cleaner will maintain your grids and cartridges to keep your pool’s filter operating at peak performance.
Pool Filters should be cleaned (at minimum) every 6 months on pools receiving normal use. For pools with above normal use & debris, clean the pool filter every 3 months. These are pools that see a lot of swimmers and receive an above normal amount of debris from trees, plants, shrubs, dust and dirt. Other factors that affect a pool filter are weather, and your pool filter may need to be cleaned more frequently during the hotter Arizona months (May – October), to include the monsoon season (June – September).
Our Pool Filter Cleaners will help you find the best pool filter maintenance schedule to meet your needs. We know you are busy, so why not let one of our Pool Filter Cleaners clean your pool filter, so you can relax and enjoy your pool.
